1.A Copyright and Ownership
All original content on Decision & Law (analyses, articles, tool reviews, graphics, code, and editorial materials) is the exclusive intellectual property of Decision & Law LLC and is protected by US Copyright Law (17 U.S.C. § 101 et seq.) and international copyright treaties.
1.B Use of Our Content
You may access, read, and share limited portions of our content for personal, non‑commercial purposes only.
Fair Use – What You Can Do:
You may reproduce or quote limited portions of our content (up to 150 words per article) provided you:
- Attribute to Decision & Law with a visible link to the original article
- Do not modify the text
- Use non‑commercially (no resale, no inclusion in paid courses, no commercial consulting deliverables)
- Are creating original work
Beyond Fair Use – What Requires Permission:
You must obtain written permission for: reproduction of entire articles, inclusion in commercial products, courses, or consulting services, use in AI training datasets or generative AI systems, republication or syndication (even with attribution), creating derivative works (annotated versions, translations, etc.), and use in subscription or paywall products.
1.C How to Request Permission
To request permission for use beyond fair use:

- Approximate audience size
- Commercial value or monetization (if any)
- Proposed timeline
We will respond within 10 business days.
2. Third‑Party Content and Attribution
When we reference, quote, or link to third‑party content, we comply with fair use doctrine and provide clear attribution and source identification. If you use our content that quotes or references third parties, you are responsible for respecting third parties' intellectual property rights and conducting your own fair use analysis.
3. Trademarks and Branding
Decision & Law and our logo are trademarks of Decision & Law LLC. You may not use our trademarks without permission to suggest affiliation, endorsement, or confusion.
4. Complaint Process – Your IP Infringement
If you believe Decision & Law has infringed your copyright or trademark, please file a complaint:

- Description of the work you claim is infringed
- URL on our Site where the infringement appears
- Evidence that you own the copyright or trademark
- Statement that the information is accurate
We will acknowledge receipt within 5 business days and investigate.
DMCA Notices: Formal DMCA takedown notices must include all elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c). Send to artificialderecho@gmail.com with subject "DMCA Takedown Notice".
5. Repeated Infringement
Users who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights will have their access to the Site terminated.
6. Your Content and User‑Generated Material
If you submit comments, feedback, or content to Decision & Law, you retain ownership but grant us a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, perpetual license to use, modify, and publish your submission for site improvement or illustration purposes. We will not sell your content or use it for commercial purposes beyond operating the Site.
7. Dispute Resolution
Disputes regarding intellectual property are governed by the Terms of Use and Delaware law.
